On behalf of the Al-Dhawi tribe, we extend our deepest condolences and sincerest sympathies to the Al-Thawaba tribe in general, and to the family and loved ones of the late Sheikh Mansour bin Matar Thawaba in particular. May Allah have mercy on him.

A Eulogy Poem by Poet Nassar Hammoud Naji Dhawi:

Ibn Dhawi said, O my words and verses,
Join me in mourning the valiant, the wisest of the wise.

Condolences for the wise son of Thawaba, who has departed,
Weep for him, O steadfast mountains.

Condolences for the backbone, Mansour the hero,
The lion of the battlefield, the man of noble deeds.

Firm in hardship, never straying from the path,
His sword’s strike turns even the strongest to dust.

His courage among the Arabs became a legend,
A protector of the land in times of calamity.

Truthful in speech, his word was his bond,
A fountain of generosity, a river of virtue.

Whoever sought his refuge found strength in the mountains,
His deeds bear witness across the years.

Mercy upon you, O star that has set,
After you, sorrow’s spears pierce the banners.

My grief for Mansour is a mighty flood,
Like a wounded man whose wounds never cease to bleed.

Like one besieged from all sides,
His weapons depleted, with no hope for escape.

Looking for support from his kin, but none arrived,
Surrounded by his foes, with all paths closed.

May the mercy of the Most Merciful embrace Mansour,
And may his abode be in the shade of paradise.

We send our condolences to his people and family,
To his tribe, Dhul-Zaid, and to all who knew him.

Mansour has left, his time has come,
May Allah grant you patience, now and always.

Death is certain, none can deny,
It claims all beings, no matter their might.

Patience in hardship is the best of deeds,
And he remains in the righteous deeds that endure.

We ask the One who never turns away a supplicant,
The Lord of the heavens, who knows all hidden things.

To grant him the eternal gardens of paradise,
And protect him from the scorching flames of hell.

And remember the Messenger of Allah, who set things right,
Muhammad, the chosen one, of praiseworthy traits.

May Allah have mercy on Sheikh Mansour bin Matar Thawaba, grant him a place in His vast paradise, and grant patience and solace to his family and loved ones.
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return.
